· Total fare must be paid in full at the time of booking.
· 100% cancellation/no show fee once booking/payment made.
· $30 per person per sailing leg amendment fee applies.
· Travel applies to selected day sailings and these change regularly. To
overcome frustration call our consultants today and they'll give you the best
deal we have on offer on any day you phone.
· Availability is limited and offer will last until sold out.
· The Summer Day Fare applies to adults and children but may vary without notice
· Travel Insurance is strongly recommended.
We guarantee to discount each standard Spirit of Tasmania booking (for singles,
couples or even family groups) by AUD $5.00 per booking each way (i.e. up to
$10.00 off standard Spirit of Tasmania Wholesale prices^ on each booking) when
you quote this website "hit" at the time of your enquiry.
These additional and
special discounts do not apply to the Melbourne-Devonport and
Devonport-Melbourne "Ship Saver" Fares (see below for details).

Spirit of Tasmania fares announcement – effective 1 November 2008
Spirit of Tasmania will increase passenger and vehicle fares for bookings
effective 1 November 2008 due to fuel delivery charges and the substantial
reduction in the value of the Australian dollar. Scheduled passenger fares will
increase by 1.5 per cent, the fare for a standard vehicle will increase by $7
while all other vehicle fares will increase by three percent. Passengers with
existing bookings will not be affected by the increase as booked fares will be
honoured.

Fuel surcharge: From 1 July 2008, a fuel surcharge is included in all Spirit of
Tasmania passenger fares. The fuel surcharge will be determined by the cost of
fuel and is subject to change on a monthly basis. Passengers with current
tickets will not be affected by the new surcharges as these will apply only to
new ticket purchases.
The fuel surcharge will be automatically included into your passenger fare when
booking. The current surcharge is $12 per person, per sailing leg.Note: The fuel
surcharge is based on the published MOPS HSFO 180cSt price & converted based on
current exchange rates to $AUD.
